What is an inquiry card?
To inquire is to investigate; to search for information. The goal of inquiry cards is to investigate yourself. I want you to come into self inquiry about why you do things and how you see yourself. The best thing you can do for yourself and the first step towards any change you need to make is by being self aware – being honest with yourself.
Why come into self inquiry?
We are often so quick to point our finger at others in blame. Instead of concentrating on external concerns, I want you to look at internal aspects of yourself without judgement. This doesn’t have to be a huge overhaul of your mind and body (although it could if you wanted it to). It sounds like a heavy and emotional task, but with these cards, it can be fun! Some inquiry cards can be as simple as asking what makes you smile or what is in your fridge. I like to think the card you pick is what you need to be asked at that point in your day, week or life.
Final thoughts:
One of my favorite things to do with these cards is get them out when having some drinks with friends, or a girls night. It’s like playing a more genuine version of Truth or Dare…. without the dare part. I truly just want people to enjoy these cards. I want you to have fun and share them with your friends. I love walking around a party or yoga studio asking people to pick a card. This helps in creating a connection with people and genuine conversation that steers away from the repetitive questions we ask when we see each other. I hope they brighten people’s days and make an impact on their thoughts and actions in a positive way. I honestly wish I could give them away for free and if I could, I would!
These cards are made with:
Love, passion, spirit, feeling, joy, fun, affection, gratefulness, devotion, drive, compassion, gratitude, respect, zeal, zest, character, wonder, curiosity, willingness, happiness, bliss, cheer and sunshine.
